Week 2
Monday
Today, I went to my Grandma's house(I go to my grandma's house for the day and my mum picks me up at the end of the day) with my little sister Bridget. My grandpa, Bridget and I went to the Highland Park Library to get some books. We had to walk all the way as my grandpa didn't know how to drive. We got some books out and then we walked home for lunch.
Today, my friend Yu Chen and his dad picked me up to go to Chipmunks to play. First we went to Yu Chen's house. We played cards but we didn't finish that round. We were called for lunch when we weren't finished playing but we went anyway. We had a healthy sandwitch with lettuce, ham and cheese. After lunch, Yu Chen's dad drove us to Chipmunks. It was super-duper fun but Yu Chen's little brother Yu Dian bumped his head when Yu Chen and I weren't looking. When Yu Chen's dad heard about the bump, he drove us all back to Yu Chen's home. Yu Chen and I carried on with our card game until Yu Chen's dad told us to get into the car immedialty for dinner. We went to a noodle shop and ate noodles. Then Yu Chen's dad dropped us off at my house.
Tuesday
Today, my friend Yiwen came to play. We read the books I got from the library yesterday. Next, my aunty, Yiwen, Bridget and I went to a nearby park. We had a wonderful time. When we got home, we had pizza for lunch. It was delicious. After lunch, we watched TV until Yiwen's dad came to pick her up.
Today, I rode my bike while Bridget rode my scooter. It was really fun but Bridget went too fast and she fell over. When she got up, I saw that her trousers had a hole in it. After the fall, everything worked out perfectly as there was no more injuries.Whew! You need to take care of yourselves!!
Wednesday
Today, Cassandra and her mum came to pick Bridget and me up to watch the Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs movie. First, we went to the beach. On the way back, Bridget accidently touched some dirty water and we all ran away from her, laughing and screaming. We ran to a playground and Bridget washed her hands. After that, we picked up Cassandra's sister Cecelia's friend. Then we went to watch the movie. It was cool. When the movie was finished, Cassandra dropped us off at our house.
Bridget, my grandpa and I went to the school today. On the way there, Bridget rode my bike and I rode my scooter while my grandpa trudged behind us. We stopped at a playground on the way and Bridget and I played on the playground while my grandpa rested on a bench. After we finished playing, we carried on walking and riding to the school. when we got to the school, we played for a while on the monkey bars. Then we walked and rode home but this time, I was on the bike and Bridget was on the scooter. It was really really fun visiting the school. Were there many people at the school? Mrs N
Thursday
I went to the swimming pool this evening. I had to swim laps and when I was finished, I was exausted. My mum watched me swim. When I finished, she said I had done well.
This evening, I went to the swimming pool just like last week. I went with my dad this time. I had to dive and swim races. The sad thing was that I think that my dad didn't watch me but chatted with another man instead.
Friday
I went to the park today and I met my friend Sophie. We played together and it was great fun. I tried to climb a pole but I couldn't. In the end, I succeeded.
Today, I watched a DVD. The DVD was about some clever sheep and a very dumb wolf. It was a cartoon. The stupid wolf's wife always hit him in all the episodes. It was very funny and it was in chinese.
Saturday
In the evening, my friend Andy came to my house. We played on the computer first. It was fun but Bridget didn't get a go so when Andy and I were playing something else, Bridget played on the computer. I chased Andy all around the house until it was time for him to go.
Today, Bridget, my mum, my dad and I drove to a place to look at a cat. The reason why we looked at a cat is because my mum suddenly had an interest in cats and she wanted one for our pet. The cat's name was Charlie and he was very cute but he bited and scratched so we didn't buy him. Then we drove home.
Sunday
I went to the swimming pool today and I saw my friend Sophie. We played mermaids until it was time to go. When we were changing, Sophie's mum poured water all over us with the bucket she brought. Finally, we went home.
Today, my dad, my mum, Bridget and I drove to Huntly( a place near Hamilton) to buy a cat. We found a cat that was a female and was very cute so we bought her. Her name was Princess Leah but we renamed her Misty because On her forhead was a M shape and her coat was a colour kind of like mist colour. She sounds beautiful. I can't wait to see a photo of her! Monday
Today, my sister Bridget and I went to my grandma's house.
We walked to a nearby park and played there. We played on
a spinning thing but I got dizzy so we played on the see-saw and
the swings. When we finally walked home,Bridget and I were exhausted.
We slumped on the couch and pretended to sleep. While we were at the
park, my grandma's english teacher came to teach her english. Her name was Tonny.
I part listened and part pretended to sleep so I could hear what Tonny was saying.
At 2 o'clock, Tonny went home. It was a fun but exhausting day.
Bridget and I played Square Meal on the computer today. It was fun but Bridget kept on dieing. We at least got to level 14 when it was time to shut down the computer. Our aunty, Connie, came to shut down the computer. We had so much fun on the computer today. The website was called www.nitrome.com.
Tuesday
My grandma, Bridget and I walked to the movies today to see the movie G-Force.
It was a fabulous movie and I thought that the storyline was great. The movie was
about 3 guinea pigs that tried to become secret agents and on the way, they met lots
of difficulties such as dogs, a pet shop and a coffee machine. I thougt the ending was
the best because that was when the guinea pigs find their true selves as secret agents.
Bridget and I played Twin Shot and Twin Shot 2 on the computer.
The games were on the same website as Square Meal. I was the orange cat and Bridget was the pink cat and we had to shoot arrows onto the baddies. Some baddies were espesially hard to kill because they had armour and weapons.
Wednesday
Bridget and I drew today. We drew pictures and sold them to my auntie, grandma and
grandpa for free. Everybody wanted our pictures and they kept buying them but we soon drew more pictures. Bridget and I were soon bored of drawing so we watched TV. We watched Tintin but it was chinese. It was soooo funny as Thomson and Thompson always did funny things. After a while I closed the TV. Bridget and I had enjoyed watching TV.
Today Bridget and I went to my friend Rebecca's house for the day. We got some string and some paper, and passed notes to each other on the staircase. It was so cool but unfortunately, Rebecca told me she lost the string. I didn't believe her but I couldn't find the string either!!! It was just soo fun but I had to go home in the end.
Thursday
In the evening, Bridget had to go to piano lessons so my dad and I went to the library.
I tried to pick some books but most of the ones I wanted were gone. I found the music section and tried to find books about famous composers but I only found one book about Johann Sebastian Bach. There was another book but it was too complicated. Finally, we went home.
Today, Bridget and I watched a chinese DVD. It was the one with the sheep and the wolf. The DVD was great and it was really funny.
We closed the TV just when my mum got here.
Friday
I went to ballet lessons today because the exams were in November and I had to be ready. I had only learnt ballet for one term and I was catching up well. My teachers were called Mrs. Barber and Miss Jenny. They said that tommorow the mirror's curtain will be drawn. I had fun dancing ballet and I was quite good at the classical dance.
Like Wednesday, Bridget and I went to Rebbeca's house. We discovered a sour fruit that grew in her garden so we climed a wall to get some. It was really challenging. We stayed there and discussed how this could be our secret meeting place. Then Bridget and I went home.
Saturday
Today was the Chinese Moon Festival so it was a special day. I went to my friend Kenny's house (not the one in our class) but we didn't stay there for dinner. My dad drove to a restaurant and I saw my grandparents there. We had dinner there and I loved the food. Then we drove home.
My friend Sam came to our house today. First, we played hide-and-seek. It was fun hiding and I counted the least because most of the time I was found last. Then we got bored so we played tag. It was really exciting. We had dinner after that. The dinner was delicious and Sam told me that he was 90% vegetarion! After dinner, we played on my Nintendo DS and had lots of fun.
In the end, Sam went home.
Sunday
Today we went shopping to buy some things. First we went to a music shop to buy some music books because I learn piano. There wasn't any that we wanted so we went to Warehouse. We bought some shoes and chips. We didn't find any school shoes that we liked so we went to Number One shoes. My dad went to Pak'n'save to buy some grocceries. When we were at Number One shoes, Bridget and I went to the ladies section to find high-heels. There were a pair that were small enough that I could wear them! Finally we went home.
My friends Yu Chen and Yu Dian,Bridget and I went to a farm park today. When we finally got there, I was glad to get some fresh air as I was car-sick. We made butter, rode bikes and ponies. We rode the bikes and the ponies last because when we got there, there was to much people. When we rode the ponies, I rode a brown and black pony and it was so cute!
